Michael McDermott

Michael is the Manager of Integrations at Kovitz. As a member of the Integration Management Office, he supports the firm’s growth efforts and oversees the process of integrating Kovitz's merger teams into the organization. He is committed to ensuring that all our incoming teams and their clients have an exceptional onboarding experience.

Michael has worked in the Financial Services industry for over a decade. Prior to joining Kovitz, Michael served as a Manager of Integrations at Hightower Advisors. Previously, he held operational and client service roles at Harris Associates LP and Northern Trust. Michael received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Indiana University.

At work, he enjoys solving complex problems, collaborating with others, improving processes, and developing new skills. Outside of work, he enjoys ultra-distance gravel racing, traveling, cooking, and spending time with his family and friends.
