Shain Collins

Shain Collins joined Kovitz in 2024 as a Senior Power Platform Developer. Shain has been deeply involved in the developer industry since 2016. While he started his educational journey at Purdue University Northwest, his true passion for development led him to pursue a self-taught path. Along the way, he has acquired a diverse skill set, spanning C#, Python, SQL, Azure, JavaScript, and more.

In his role, Shain develops, tests, secures, and troubleshoots Microsoft Power Platform solutions. He is particularly excited about the opportunity to implement application enhancements, custom user experiences, system integrations, data conversions, and custom process automations.

Before joining Kovitz, Shain was a Team Lead and internal developer at J&L Dimensional. During his time there, he developed internal applications across various tech stacks and established the company's service and consulting arm, offering Power Platform Development services to external clients. One of his proudest achievements was managing a government-funded project in collaboration with Rolls Royce and Purdue University.

He brings a Power Platform Developer certification and a wide range of skills, including project management and team leadership. Shain is committed to delivering innovative solutions that drive business efficiency and productivity.

Beyond work, he has a range of interests, from building PCs and 3D printing to spending quality time with his family outdoors. He also enjoys hanging out with friends and indulging in some PC gaming during his downtime.

He is eager to contribute to Kovitz' success and looks forward to collaborating with the team to achieve our goals.
